The Maldives Doctors Union is an organization with an aim to enhance the health care system of the Republic of Maldives, protect the rights of medical practitioners and nurture a healthy lifestyle within the medical community & society.

The Union registered under the jurisdiction of the Republic of Maldives and accredited under registration 141-NGO/CERT/2023/57.

The activities and causes are of the Maldives Doctors Union are governed by the Union Charter, with reference to the Charter clause (3).

*Provide assistance to the Government and other organizations in the planning and implementation of relevant activities of health sector.
*Strengthen relationships with worldwide medical organizations.
*Conduct research to enhance the medical field of the Rep. of Maldives and advise the relevant authorities.
*Work to protect the rights of the medical professionals in the Rep. of Maldives.
*Create forums and groups to implement the causes in the Clause 3 of the charter.
*Provide legal assistance to the health care professionals.
